Commissioned art. Inks with rapidographs and bit of brush. Question do you guys prefer the brush look or the tech pen look? anyways washes done with water color and ink.

:lol: that's a question I ask myself every day. But in the end I use both of them, depending what I have to ink I guess brush is fine for the character, and technical pen more suitable for rocks and all those things.

Really enjoyed the crossed pattern here; that's cool(like the rest of the pic BTW)

yeah i hear yah.. I think the problem when I use tech pen vs. brush is I tend to ink with a pen the way I pencil and don't take advantage of using the tones when I just use a brush... must keep learning..
Brush for the figures, tech for everything else?
