It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Vancouver was great! Agnes and I had an awesome time there, we got to see and do a lotta things and the weather was great! (last time I was there it rained all weekend) Much thanks goes out to Leonard for bringing us over and for his great hospitality! Anyways here are some sketches I did at the con. Thanks to all those that came out! Oh and thanks Diana for the cool sketch!

ahhh these are so cool!! the battle-scars on the hulk are such a cool thing!!!

i got sept guerrieres in the mail today (through amazon.fr, by way of clicking buttons and hoping they were exactly the same as amazon.com). it's so beautifully drawn! and i think it says something when, with "allez" and "ouais" and "non" being pretty much the extent of my french that we could figure out what was going on! i thought i was following it pretty well until the twist at the end and then much wordreference.com was utilized.

ahhh it was so gorgeous!!! the costuming was so beautiful, i can't imagine how you managed to replicate so many different types of clothing and architecture! and so much DETAILING!! really great!

the prince looked a little like lyle so we giggled a lot at how popular with the ladies he was.

thanks!! glad you enjoyed Sept as well thanks for ordering it!! I learned so much during that project and it took forever! I'd love to do another one though with the knowledge I've gained. And yeah you're totally right the prince totally looks like IK!

I was so disappointed that I couldn't make it out to Vancouver in time for the con. I consolidated myself by picking up Legion 42 finally. It looks fantastic! I'm stoked to see you doing even more legion issues, Keep up the awesome work!
